I hope everyone had an amazing summer! It was great getting to meet so many diverse and different freshman this summer during CTOPS. Welcome ot Carolina, and welcome to this family.
I will leave you with a quote:
“Life is either a daring adventure or nothing.” – Helen Keller
Can’t wait for all the exciting events the fall will bring! Stay tuned!

Thanks to Sloane at the Causemopolitan for this awesome post!
Here’s the question that comes to mind. What is tradition to you? What traditions are meant to be broken? Is there a criterion?
Here is my conclusion. We are only limited by the confines of our own minds. There is a place and time for tradition, but the craziest most “off the wall” thing you can think of, that’s on the table too. It’s not about one-upping the latest crazy stunt, it’s about making something special that matches your personality. Push the confines, make the special events in your life stick out, be a one in a million.
(And then of course post to YouTube so we can all see it too).

I found this blog entry and had to share, thanks Seth (http://sethgodin.typepad.com/seths_blog/2009/06/guy-3.html) :
Paul just sent over this video of a dance tribe forming spontaneously at a music festival.
My favorite part happens just before the first minute mark. That’s when guy #3 joins the group. Before him, it was just a crazy dancing guy and then maybe one other crazy guy. But it’s guy #3 who made it a movement.
Initiators are rare indeed, but it’s scary to be the leader. Guy #3 is rare too, but it’s a lot less scary and just as important.
We need more guy #3s.
